Holding off gray hair… Is it possible to fight time with a good diet, supplements, and a healthy lifestyle? This “remedy” is something that works for me. I realize aging is an inevitable part of life, and some of us are pre-disposed to go gray faster. And yes, I will eventually be gray, but I seem to be slowing the process. Please comment and tell me if anyone else notices the connection with stress and hair.

- Multi-enzyme, multi-vitamin, a change in diet, a notebook, possibly a new job.
Talk to a nutritionist about vitamins and enzymes. For me, enzymes are more important. As I got older my body stopped being able to break down foods as easily. I was getting gas and a bloated feeling after every meal. The multi enzymes stopped that. Get a good multivitamin. If you are like me, you don’t always put the best food in your body, so this will help. And since you will be taking a multi-enzyme, your body can absorb more vitamins.
Stop eating so munch junk. I know, I know…most of us like the convenience of a drive thru, and once in a while won’t hurt. However, all that oil, sugar, and fat plugs up our systems. Most fast food spots have something somewhat healthy, so go for the grilled, or fruit, or salad. If you really want to do it right, move away from processed foods all together.
Remove stress – This is of course easier said than done. I do project work. So my stress levels are up and down. I get gray hair here and there during my projects, then when they are over, if I am eating right, they go away. So I try to relax during my work for a few minutes every day, and I excercise as much as possible.
Get a notebook. I know this may sound silly, but when I write down a simple, chicken-scratched “to do” list, my mind stays much more clear–more relaxed… hence, less stress. It’s like having a game plan for a football team. Witout a plan, everything seems so chaotic.
